<p><strong>My original plan was to make a movie about this.</strong> That didn&#8217;t happen. Maybe another day soon! BUT, I do have some lovely and colorful pictures for you, so here we go!</p>
<p>Wednesday I wrote about the logistics of making things easier for you while you&#8217;re eating raw these next 14 days. Here is what it looks like for me:<span id="more-1155"></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #008080;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">SALADS:</span></strong></span></p>
<p>I cut my salad veggies and placed them in large tupperware containers. During the Cleanse, you are more than welcome to add or take away ingredients as you&#8217;d like, but just make sure you&#8217;re eating ENOUGH!</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img decoding="async" class="size-medium wp-image-1157 alignleft" title="3 BIG Salads" src="http://www.anticancermom.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/IMG_7986-570x427.jpg" alt="" width="570" height="427" /></p>
<p><span style="color: #008080;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">SMOOTHIES:</span></strong></span></p>
<p>**Please note that the smoothies in these pictures are NOT the smoothies in the 14 Day Cleanse.</p>
<p>1. Lay out your Ziploc bags.</p>
<p>2.Fill up a large bowl of filtered water. Wash veggies as you go.</p>
<p>3. Chop your veggies in into 2 or 3 large pieces each. They do not need to be chopped finely, especially if using a <a href="http://www.vitamix.com/household/Health/green_smoothie.asp?COUPON=06-006342" target="_self">Vitamix</a> or other heavy duty blender. Leafy greens do not to be chopped at all.</p>
<p>4. If using avocado do not add until the day you are consuming the smoothie. They can get really brown and yucky if exposed to air for too long. Oh, and make sure to remove the pit. <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>
<p>5. Place veggies into Ziploc bags, assembly line style.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1158" title="Chopping Process" src="http://www.anticancermom.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/IMG_7975-570x427.jpg" alt="" width="570" height="427" /></p>
<p>6. Zip up bags and admire the amount of veggies you&#8217;ll be consuming in your smoothie. <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-medium wp-image-1159 alignleft" title="Five Veggie Bags" src="http://www.anticancermom.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/IMG_7980-570x427.jpg" alt="" width="570" height="427" />7. Place salads and smoothie veggies in fridge and pray that they fit amongst all of the other veggies!</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1160" title="Fridge Setup" src="http://www.anticancermom.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/IMG_7982-570x427.jpg" alt="" width="570" height="427" /></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">8. Once you&#8217;re ready to make your smoothie, make sure the top part of the ziploc bag is about 1/3 of the way into the blender as you ease all of the veggies in. This will help avoid a mess. Then remove the bag. You can also take them out of the bag one by one and place them in the blender. Add water, blend and serve.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">9. I put my green smoothies in TWO LARGE Mason jars with caps and keep in the fridge until I&#8217;m ready to drink.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1161" title="greensmoothie" src="http://www.anticancermom.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/greensmoothie.jpg" alt="" width="194" height="259" /></p>
