(This is part of an ongoing series called Foods YOU Need!)

It is difficult to find official research studies in the world of holistic/alternative cancer treatment (mostly due to the lack of money in it!). This video gives some quick insight into what is going on in the world of angiogenesis research, a burgeoning attack plan for alternative and allopathic cancer patients.

Dr. William Li sums it up best in his presentation, but simply put, “angiogenesis” is the scientific term literally meaning “blood creation,” or, for our purposes, “growth of blood vessels.”

Cancer cells can only get so big until they need a blood supply, a life-line. Once they begin to utilize blood vessels to stay alive and feed themselves, cancer growth speeds up exponentially. The idea of “ANTI-angiogenesis” supports the notion that if the growth of blood vessels to the cancer cells is stopped, then the cancer cannot progress to DISEASE (cancer in need of treatment). This is one of the first lessons Kev and I learned when treating my cancer holistically.

If you’re too busy to sit and watch this 20 minute video (I empathize!), then I would start the video at the 11:25 mark. What I wrote above briefly sums up the beginning of the video. However, if you do have the time, you won’t regret watching it in its entirety!

As Dr. Li stated on Dr. Oz last year, “Food is a medicine that we take 3 times a day.” I couldn’t agree more! So go ahead and eat these anti-angiogenic foods TODAY!
