Disclosures, Disclaimers, and Bears OH MY!

Hi everyone! Just letting you know I have added a “Disclaimer” to the top menu navigation. Read on if you’re excited by Disclaimers! 🙂

For those unfamiliar with Disclaimers and Disclosures, this is where I let it all hang out. Anything that may be going on behind the curtain is stated here.

Statements made on Green Drink Diaries are not intended for medical advice. I am not a physician or health care provider. I am a wife, mother, public school educator, and holistic cancer survivor who stays up too late on school nights to write the information you will find in this blog. My intentions are not to prescribe medical treatment for any illness, but to inspire people to make THEIR own educated decisions with their doctor regarding THEIR health.

Information given on Green Drink Diaries has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. This blog is not intended to replace a personal relationship with a doctor. If you are sick please work with a doctor who is knowledgeable about your disease as well as nutritional approaches to improve your condition. I would also encourage YOU to educate yourself as much as possible about your health challenge.

Green Drink Diaries is not motivated by monetary gain. I began this blog to share my story of overcoming cancer without the use of conventional medicine. To do this I used many different approaches, most involved dietary changes and detoxification. I have been in clinical remission status since May 2009 as declared by my oncologist, Dr. Stephen Szabo, MD.

Any products or recipes I recommend have been tried and tested by me, and I do not gain financially from any recommendations.

On December 1, 2009, the FTC began requiring bloggers to provide disclosures whenever there could be hidden interests or unspoken biases related to recommendations.

This basically says that for anything I post on my blog I need to specify ways in which I may have benefited financially. Please be reassured if I ever receive compensation for any information, advice, or recommendations given I will let my readers know!
