However, fear not! There are several excellent online support systems out there that are accepting and supportive towards Alternative/ Holistic Cancer protocols and more conservative treatments…

My Favorite Online Alternative Cancer Support Systems:
Kris Carr’s “Crazy Sexy Life”: This site includes a daily wellness blog, recipes, and an online community of “wellness warriors” as they are referred to with experiences in approaching all kinds of ailments naturally. The site is like a “Facebook” of the natural health world. I have not met very many holistic/alternative cancer survivors on there, but the support that has come from this site as helped me continue with my healing goals!
Cancer Victors is an online support site for people interested in Alternative Cancer Treatment and has several testimonies of holistic survivors and those choosing to treat their cancer as a chronic condition rather than a one-stop-shot. I am just digging into this site but from what I am seeing, you should take the time to sign up so you can view the blog entries and biographies of its members. HERE is a list of holistic cancer survivors that you can view upon creating an account. I have to add that I was disappointed that many of the members are currently inactive, but I think that tends to happen once a cancer is in remission- you want to move forward with your life.
Facebook has a group of Alternative Therapy Survivors that I have recently become involved in. Many of them, including myself are eager to help others who are considering alternative treatment.
So, there you go! All 3 of these sites are incredibly positive and generally safe to post your questions or success stories with alternative cancer protocols. As always, check out the territory first, but I will continue to post about my story on these sites without hesitation!

Interesting that I found your site, Cortney, by CSC. I also found the Wellness Warrior and also Chris Wark’s web site. So, Crazy Sexy Life is filled of lots of holistic information. There are many people on there that have used holistic medicine, sometimes with conventional medicine too and sometimes without. All these sites are fabulous and very beneficial. Thanks Cortney.
Another great site is The Wellness Warrior (http://www.thewellnesswarrior.com.au/) – it’s actually a wellness blog, written by someone who used the Gerson therapy to overcome cancer. Not technically a support website, but lots of people who are using alternative treatment to beat cancer converge there and comment. One of my faves!
